The first record for both Staffordshire and the West Midlands area and only the third record for Britain, this represents one of the most outstanding birds ever to have occurred in the region. Discovered on April 1st 2005 the bird remained in the area until dusk. It was relocated in Yorkshire the following day before visiting Aberdeenshire from April 4th.

Discovered on September 20th 2003, this was an excellent find on a small area of ground behind a housing estate where it remained for another three days. Together with an adult male earlier in the year these represented the first records for the West Midlands County since 1984.

Present from October 24th to November 9th 1991, this bird represented the second record for both Staffordshire and the West Midlands area as well as being the first in Britain since 1987.
